Some basic information on Acne

  1. Acne develops wherever there are hair follicles.
  2. There tends to be a higher density of follicles on the upper arms, back, neck and face, therefore acne is common on there regions.
  3. Almost 98% of 11 – 24 year olds will have ‘suffered’ some form of ACNE, beit whitehead, blackhead, spot, pimple, or any other of the common names given to ACNE.

  • Acne variations; Whiteheads. These are pimples that stay under the surface of the skin.
